General Manager

We are looking for an energetic and passionate individual who can effectively grow and manage a thriving circus culture, profession and community while ensuring our Hub activities and operations are delivered to a high standard. As the successful candidate you’ll be responsible for leading the organisation, growing our offerings and customer base, and delivering to our strategic objectives. 

The Wellington Circus Hub has a committed community of users, and we need a leader who can lead the organisation into the future.

If you’re a creative, well organised individual with a talent for getting the best out of others, we’d love to hear from you. While experience in the circus, performing arts or recreation sector is desirable, we will consider applicants demonstrating relevant and applicable skills. 

The role is currently 32 hours a week, with a potential to extend to 37 hours in the future.

Administrator/Receptionist

A new opportunity to join the passionate Circus Hub team has just opened! We are looking for a new administrator/receptionist who will be responsible for running the day-to-day business of our circus space.

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused individual, committed to delivering high-quality costumer service for this role. As our Administrator/Receptionist, you will play a significant part in the success of the Circus Hub by supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations, with a particular focus on:

  • customer service

  • managing bookings and enquiries

  • liaising with the team of trainers

  • maintaining class schedules and programmes. 

While experience in the circus, performing arts or recreation sector is desirable, we will consider applicants demonstrating relevant and applicable skills and experience.

The role is currently 16 hours a week, with a potential to extend to 20 hours in the future.

Preferred work hours are Monday-Thursday between 4pm-8pm at the Circus Hub in Newtown.
