ABOUT ADULT CLASSES
Adult circus classes focus on individual skills, so you can choose what you’d like to train and progress at your own pace. Most classes are 1.5 hours long.
You don’t need a background in gymnastics, dance, or elite fitness to start. Our beginner classes are designed to teach the fundamentals safely, while gradually building strength, flexibility, and confidence.
Start with TRY IT ALL
If you’re new to circus, we strongly recommend beginning with Try It All, our introductory programme.
Try It All gives you a supported introduction to:
-
Aerial skills: trapeze, silks, aerial hoop (lyra)
-
Ground-based skills: tumbling, hand balancing, partnered acrobatics (adagio), juggling
This course runs in four-week blocks and helps you discover which skills you enjoy most before moving into beginner classes. Your trainer will also help guide your next steps.
Strength & Flexibility Classes
These classes support your circus training and can be taken on their own or alongside skill classes. All are 1-hour classes.
-
Get Strong: A fitness-based class using circus techniques to build strength, cardio, and flexibility. A great option if you want to progress faster — or if you’re looking for a fun alternative to the gym.
-
Get Bendy: A flexibility-focused class designed to improve range of motion, prevent injury, and support skill development.
-
Remedial Bendiness (for the Chronically Inflexible): A gentle, supportive stretching class for those of us who are stiff, creaky, or proudly unbendy. Expect adaptive guidance, safe stretching, and a good dose of humour — all in the company of fellow non-contortionists.
(If you’re secretly very bendy, we may suggest one of the other flexibility classes instead.)
