We will be closed from 21st March.
Dear student, parent, friend, amazing member of our community,
These uncertain times have added an incredible amount of stress on everyone's shoulders. We know that our circus classes represent for so many of you a precious moment in your week where you allow yourself to forget your worries. I have received so many touching messages from our students these last days that only re-enforce my belief in the power of circus arts. It has also made this decision even more heart-breaking for us to make. However, we believe that this is the right one to make to help our society move past this crisis and plan for the future.
We are unfortunately going to be closed from tomorrow, Saturday 21st of March, until further notice. We are used to managing the risks associated with circus, but this is an entirely new one for us, one that we realise is beyond our ability to manage to the extent needed in the current context.
We are ready to think outside the box even more than we are used to, and we will grow our online presence to offer everyone alternatives to our usual classes. There will be a lot of testing and trialling new formats in the next days, and your feedback will be precious to help us improve our offer. We really hope that, while we have to deal with so many constraints, the solutions we will bring will still be offering you a relief from your daily stress, a fun work-out, and a much needed strong connection with our community.
I would like to take a moment to thank all our staff, and especially our trainers who have been absolutely phenomenal in taking on the challenges this week. I feel incredibly privileged to be part of such a passionate team that is ready to make so many sacrifices to keep circus available to our community, whatever happens. They are now looking forward to connecting with you and teaching you in new ways.
We appreciate your patience while we work as fast as we can to release our new options, which will gradually be rolling out. We will be constantly updating you through our newsletter, website, and social media. The best place to join our community is through the Circus Hub Students Facebook group.
As previously mentioned, if you are in a position to consider your unused classes for the missed classes of term 1 as a donation to the Hub, we will greatly appreciate it. Otherwise, we have various options to offer, as we know that many have been impacted financially.
We have also set up a Givealittle page, where we will be taking donations.
Looking forward to seeing you all online very soon,
