Students must audition to join the course.

Course Information
Programme Overview
The Youth Circus programme is for young passionate students who want to push their training further and acquire strong foundations in circus technique and stage performance. It is the Circus Hub's version of a preparatory programme for tertiary education in circus arts.
The group meets 3 times per week to train general circus skills, learn acting and dancing, practice group skills, and create acts. We encourage the students to set goals for their progress, and promote commitment. While we aim to challenge the students, having fun will always remain at the core of the course. The 14-18 years old group will also have the opportunity to train and create an act in the specialty skill of their choice.
The students will have a few opportunities to perform throughout the year, including in our RAW showcase. We also often get invited to perform at community events, which are excellent opportunities to gain extra experience.
Training Schedule
Tuesday and Thursday
4:30 - 6:30pm: All students
6:30 - 7:30pm: 14-18 years old only, specialty training
Saturday
9am - 12pm: All students

The Audition Process
Interested in joining Youth Circus? We are looking for new circus-lovers to join!
During the audition process, the candidates will have to demonstrate their circus skills in floor acrobatics and hand balancing, as well as conditioning and flexibility. They will also have to prepare a 1 minute maximum performance of other skills they might have (such as juggling, aerials, etc). Finally, they will have a short interview with our trainers.
Beginner students are more than welcome to audition for Youth Circus! Commitment and potential will be heavily taken into account when choosing new students. Show us that you are passionate and ready to train hard!
