There are two ways to send e-mails to groups through the classes website

For small groups you can use the mailing groups tab but for large groups you should use CIVIMAIL - accessible through http://classes.org.nz/index.php?q=civicrm/mailing&reset=1

CiviMAIL allows:
- HTML formatted text to be uploaded of e-mails (i.e. this can contain basic formatting such as headings, bolding etc)
- Handling of bounces and opt outs
- Tracking of what people read in the e-mail.
- Standardised footer
- Reliability in large mailouts.

The Class tutor is responsible for:

- Checking attendance against the people fully registered & paid for the class.
- Following up with students until payment has been made
- Notifying the classes administrator of any students on the lists who are no-shows
- Writing in the book each week who took the class & rate expectations
- Sending a photocopy of the relevant page from the book to the classes administrator before any invoices will be paid

Tutors will not be paid until
- Sign-off is given that all students attending have paid

The base class price is based on :

$12 per hour for most classes
$8 per hour for circus fit

The early payment class fee is calculated by multiplying the number of classes * the number of hours per class * the rate and rounding it up to a suitable number

eg.

9 weeks

= $162 (round to $165)

THEN add on about $20 for the full price if not paid before the early payment date
