What to wear and bring to Class

Generally you should wear stretchy, snug fitting clothes (with no zips or sharp bits) and bare feet. Remove all jewellery and watches before class.

For aerials wear something that is relatively fitting around your waist and avoid exposed skin around the hips. A leotard is ideal if you have one. Sleeves and long leggings/trousers are recommended as it is important to protect the skin behind the knees and also the armpits. Bring a second layer to put on between turns on the equipment to prevent cooling down too much.

For Chinese Pole wear sturdy protective trousers (ie jeans) and long sleeves plus rubber soled sneakers.

Remember a water bottle, and eat something around an hour before class. If you find you are suffering from muscle cramps, adding energy drink or electrolytes to your water bottle may help.

Please cover any cuts (or warts) or if you forget, let the tutor know at the beginning of class so they can get you access to the first aid kit.
