What to wear and bring to Class
Stretchy, snug fitting clothes are best. If possible wear something that is relatively fitting around your waist so that it won’t ride up. A leotard is ideal if you have one. Long sleeves and long leggings/trousers are also recommended. Bring a second layer to put on between turns on the equipment to prevent cooling down too much.
For aerials, you may wish to consider some ‘magic socks’ - socks with the toes and heels cut out to make some trapeze moves easier on your feet - someone will probably be able to show you what they are - they can usually be found at the $2 shop - the material is similar to an ankle brace.
Remember a water bottle, and eat something around an hour before class. If you find you are suffering from muscle cramps, adding energy drink or electrolytes to your water bottle may help.
Please cover any cuts, or if you forget, let the tutor know at the beginning of class so they can get you access to the first aid kit.
