103FP Fire Poi 12-1pm at BNU
This is a new course focusing on the development of poi technique and sequences suitable for fire performance. The course includes a practical introduction to fire safety practises for fire performance and then supervised practical experience performing with fire as a conclusion to the course (at an outdoor venue).
The tutor of this course is Morgaine Presser.
Practise poi will be available for use in class. However, it is recommended that participants bring their own gear if they have it. This course will culminate in a practical experience with fire, so we encourage participants to invest in their own equipment before the end of the course and get safe with it under experienced supervision.
This block of classes will run for 8 weeks. Each session is one hour duration.
The cost of this course is $110 or $100 if paid by 19 July.
