Wellington Circus Hub welcomes you!
If you are taking circus for the first time you might like to consider starting with our circus fitness programme or a Try-it- all class. Circus Fit runs Tuesday evenings 6.30-7.30pm, Wednesday evenings 8-9pm, Thursday evenings 6-7pm and Saturday mornings 11am - 12noon. Circus Fit allows you to build strength and fitness using circus equipment. Try-it-all focuses on learning a variety of circus skills so you can see what you most enjoy.
We run specific classes in
- Hula hoop
- Juggling / Object Manipulation
- Aerials (static trapeze, tissu / silk, web/ rope)
- Chinese Pole
- Flying Trapeze
- Tumbing / Acrobatics
- Adagio (acrobatic balancing)
- Hand Balance
We also run workshops for special needs groups, schools and team-building.
We also have a talented Youth Circus troupe who do community performances.
We do have some time slots where the Circus Hub can be hired for external groups to use.
